DESCRIPTION:Ford Takeover is the official event of Foxcast Media! Kicking off the first official time in 2017\, I looked at every complaint I had ever heard about car events\, and essentially eliminated them! Ford Takeover is an all Ford powered event\, with a laid back atmosphere\, that eliminates the stress of a more rigid style event. There is a car show\, with no judging. There is drag racing\, with no class restrictions\, there is a swap meet\, vendor midway\, mobile dyno\, food\, and good friends! Ford Takeover is all about the cars\, the people\, and one hell of a good time! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTHE MIDWAY\nWalking the midway at Ford Takeover is a must! Do not miss this! \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDRAG RACING\nThe drag racing at Ford Takeover is a test & tune format\, with grudge racing. There are no classes or payouts. The idea is a chill atmosphere where anyone and everyone can get on the track and have some fun. Jackson Dragway is an 1/8th mile track\, and all timing and clocks will be functioning. The track will be prepped\, and will go hot shortly after the gates open\, provided the weather cooperates. Helmets are required for cars going down the track. The Jackson Dragway staff will make certain the track is ready and most important; safe. If for whatever reason we are not able to run due to weather\, the car owner will be refunded the additional $5 they paid to race. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCAR SHOW\nThe Ford Takeover car show has always been a diverse one! From old Ford roadsters\, to brand new GT500s\, and everything in between. Our show is quite a bit different\, we aren’t looking for show cars\, and there is no judging or classes. The car show is to let other Ford guys check out your ride\, and have a great time. If your car is a work in progress\, under construction\, or a daily driver; put it in the show! If your car is built to the hilt\, and a concours show winner\, we want you too! The goal of Ford Takeover is a good time\, devoid of the typical car show bs.
